Doosan is currently the 3rd largest machine tool builder in the world with more than 210 models available and 50 regional distributor showrooms and service centers throughout North, Central and South America. Headquartered in Pine Brook NJ, their. products include Turning Centers, Machining  Centers, Horizontal Boring Mills, VTLs and Double Column Machines.

Originally Daewoo Heavy Industries, Doosan began doing business in North America in 1980, focusing on distribution, sales and service of powerful, high horsepower, highly rigid machine tools known as Puma turning centers.

In 2005 the company changed its name from Daewoo to Doosan. The line of machines grew from a single NC lathe to more than 140 vertical / horizontal turning and mill-turn centers, 70 vertical and horizontal machining centers, plus boring mills. Over the past three decades, Doosan has become one of the world’s largest machine tool builders.
