How can you turn the consistency the team has shown at Charlotte into your first career win at the track?
“Charlotte has been one of our more consistent tracks over the past couple years. We have been fortunate to bring fast cars there and get good qualifying positions to try to stay up front in the races. We need that again on Saturday night. Charlotte is going to be fast and fun under the lights, and hopefully we have a car that can compete for the win when it gets down to the end.”

Matt Kenseth wins at Loudon on his 500th start

It would be impossible for Joe Gibbs Racing to get off to a better start in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship, with Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch finishing first and second respectively for a second consecutive week.

Kenseth led a race-high 106 laps en route to victory in today’s Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, while Busch just ran out of laps in attempting to catch his teammate and finished a close second. Meanwhile Hamlin spent most of the day inside the top ten before coming home with a solid 12th-place run.
