20 Years of JGR: Meet Vince

Joe Gibbs Racing is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.  We wanted to stop and recognize the people that have been with us from the beginning.  Vince, our Chief Finance Executive, has had a front row seat as JGR has grown, changed and evolved over the years.  He offers a unique perspective from his time as a tire carrier on the racetrack, to serving on the pit crew, and now as an accountant.

Gresham Wins First Title

JGR Development Driver Clinches Championship at Dover Season Finale

Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) understands the importance of developing drivers for the future and the organization is committed to winning at every level it races.

A name NASCAR fans should get to know is Max Gresham.  The 18-year-old Griffin, Ga.-native just wrapped up his dream season and finished with his first championship in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East with a third-place finish at the Dover 150 International Speedway.

Dollar General Joins JGR!

Dollar General announced its new sponsorship agreement with Joe Gibbs Racing that includes contenders in both the Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series in 2012. Dollar General also announced plans to continue its Camping World Truck Series sponsorship with Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2012. Dollar General will become the primary sponsor of JGR’s #20 Toyota Camry, driven by Joey Logano, for 12 Sprint Cup races. In addition, Dollar General will be the primary sponsor of JGR’s #11 Toyota, driven by Brian Scott, for a full season in the Nationwide Series. In 10 Nationwide races, Dollar General will also support an additional JGR car, either #18 driven by Kyle Busch or #20 driven by Logano. In the Camping World Truck Series, Dollar General will return for 10 races with KBM. The #18 truck will be driven by Busch.

20 YEARS: Meet "Frenchy"

Terry Saunier, better known around the fabrication shop as “Frenchy,” might be described as a “Jack of all trades.”  Frenchy has worn a number of hats at Joe Gibb’s Racing over the years, from washing windows at pit stops to building parts in the fabrication shop, he has done it all.
