Gresham Grabs 10th at Salem

SALEM, IN (SEPTEMBER 18, 2011) – The final rundown of will show Max Gresham finished 10th in Saturday’s Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Kentuckiana Ford Dealers Fall Classic at Salem (IN) Speedway.

In reality, Gresham was way better than that.

Gresham and his No. 55 Venturini Motorsports entry were easily the fastest car throughout most of the 200-lap event on the treacherous Salem half-mile oval, but a cut tire and a green-flag pit stop for new rubber in the early going put him four laps down to the leaders.

Nationwide in Chicago

Brian Scott drove his No. 11 Shore Lodge Toyota to an impressive 3rd place finish in Chicago! Ryan Truex battled back from an early spin to finish 13th in his Schick Xtreme 3 Toyota. Joey Logano struggled with an ill-handling racecar for much of the day before finishing 19th in his SportClips Toyota.

Let the Chase Begin!

It was a wild night of racing at Richmond International Raceway with several teams battling in their final chance to earn a spot in The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. When the Wonderful Pistachios 400 was over it was Denny Hamlin who had secured his place in NASCAR’s 10-race playoff with a ninth-place finish. Kyle Busch, who entered the night already secure in his place in the Chase, finished the night in the sixth position, while an engine failure left Joey Logano in 35th.

Nationwide Sweep!

Kyle Busch wins at Richmond after a great final pit stop gets him out ahead of his closest competition! Ryan Truex finished 4th in his second start for JGR. While running in the top-10, Brian Scott was hit from behind and sent spinning into the wall. The resulting damage ended his night.
