The forecasted rains never arrived at Pocono Raceway and when all 200 laps were complete it was Kyle Busch leading Joe Gibbs Racing with a third-place effort in today’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 5-Hour Energy 500, while teammates Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin finished 11th and 19th respectively.

At a track where starting up front is a must, Max Gresham proved you could rally for a good finish from the back coming home fourth in Saturday’s Army Strong 150 at Bowman Gray Stadium.
Gresham – who also had the luxury of starting up front – recovered from an accident that put him 21st in the running order with just 70 laps to go. The solid finish left an impression on the 18-year-old Joe Gibbs Racing team driver.
Denny Hamlin led Joe Gibbs Racing with a third-place finish today in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series STP 400 at Kansas Speedway. Meanwhile teammates Kyle Busch and Joey Logano would finish 12th and 23rd respectively on a hot day in Kansas.
