Denny Hamlin, driver of the No. 20 Rockwell Automation Chevrolet for JGR, finished 28th.
There were 11 caution periods for 46 laps, with 13 drivers failing to finish the 203-lap race, which was extended three laps past its originally scheduled distance due to a green/white/checkered finish.
With only one race remaining on this year’s Busch Series schedule, the No. 20 car is second in owner points, 194 points behind the leading No. 29 car of Richard Childress Racing, and a healthy 84 points ahead of the third-place No. 60 car of Roush Fenway Racing. The No. 29 team will clinch the Busch Series championship by simply starting in next week’s season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The No. 18 car is 20th in owner points, 159 points outside the top-15.
Future JGR driver Kyle Busch scored his 11th career Busch Series victory and his fourth of the season by winning the Arizona.Travel 200. Matt Kenseth finished .306 of a second behind Busch, while Clint Bowyer, Scott Wimmer and Kevin Harvick secured the rest of the top-five. Kasey Kahne, Carl Edwards, Jason Leffler, Jamie McMurray and Ron Hornaday Jr., comprised the remainder of the top-10.
The Nov. 17 Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the final Busch Series event of 2007, starts at 4:30 p.m. EST with live, high-definition coverage provided by ESPN2 beginning with its pre-race show at 4 p.m.
