JGR Busch Series Race Report - Montreal

Brad Coleman, driver of the No. 18 FedEx Express Chevrolet, led the two-car Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) contingent at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve road course in Montreal by finishing eighth in Saturday’s NAPA Auto Parts 200 NASCAR Busch Series race. It was Coleman’s fourth career top-10 finish.

Aric Almirola, driver of the No. 20 Rockwell Automation Chevrolet for JGR, finished 11th to log his ninth career top-15 result in Busch Series competition.

There were five caution periods for 14 laps, with 17 drivers failing to finish the 75-lap race.

Kevin Harvick scored his 30th career Busch Series victory and his fourth of the season by winning the NAPA Auto Parts 200. Native Canadian Patrick Carpentier finished second in his first career Busch Series race, while Max Papis, Ron Fellows and Stephen Leicht secured the rest of the top-five. Kyle Krisiloff, Marcos Ambrose, Coleman, David Reutimann and Jeff Burton comprised the remainder of the top-10.

The next event on the Busch Series schedule is the Aug. 11 Zippo 200 at The Glen at the Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International road course. The race starts at 3:30 p.m. EDT with live coverage provided by ESPN2 beginning with its pre-race show at 3 p.m.
