Chris Bristol Brings The No. 92 MBNA Chevrolet Home Fourth at Hickory Motor Speedway

HICKORY, NC- Chris Bristol Driver of the No. 92 MBNA/Reggie White Motorsports Chevrolet got off to another great start Saturday night at the historic Hickory Motor Speedway by qualifying third for NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series event.

But despite ominous thunder clouds surrounded Hickory Motor Speedway just before the night's events got underway for Blue Ridge Harley Davidson Night at the races, but despite very light drizzle, officials decided to go ahead with the show.

Bristol ran third until just before the halfway mark of the race where on lap 24 points leader Bumgarner got by putting Bristol back to fourth. Bumgarner would go on to win the 50-lap event which ran caution free.

Currently Bristol remains in the runner-up position in the driver’s points just 38 points behind current leader Bumgarner.

Bristol had this to say about Hickory Motor Speedway…

“We were pretty good in qualifying, but we got a little tight as the race went on, but still not too bad, we finished fourth and stayed consistent,” said Bristol.
